A tall cool glass of this Peach Green Tea Lemonade is exactly what you need on a hot summer day! Skip the long lines and get the same amazing fresh and fruity drink at home using 4 simple ingredients only!
Prep Time: 10 minutes minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes minutes
Servings: 2 glasses
- ½ cup green tea
- ½ cup lemonade
- ½ cup peach juice
- ½ teaspoon simple syrup
- ice
Put two green tea bags into a mug. Pour hot (but not boiling) water over the tea bags. Let the tea steep for 3-4 minutes. Remove the tea bags and squeeze out any additional liquid. Chill the tea in the refrigerator for one hour.
Once cool, add the tea to a pitcher. Add peach juice and lemonade. Stir everything together and cool in the refrigerator again, if needed.
If you desire additional sweetness, add the simple syrup to the mixture, a half teaspoon at a time.
To serve, fill your glass halfway full with ice. Then pour your peach green tea lemonade into the glass.
- Green Tea: You need a green tea with notes on mint, lemongrass, and lemon verbena. A good option is Tazo Zen Green Tea, but there are other options.
- Peach Juice: I recommend using 100% pure peach juice in this recipe. Another option is to use a storebought peach + lemonade juice that comes all in one.
- Ice: Wait until you are ready to pour your beverage to add the ice. Otherwise, you'll end up with a watered-down drink.
- Sweetness: To adjust the sweetness of your drink, add simple syrup a half teaspoon at a time.
- For a Crowd: You can double or triple this recipe if you're serving it to a crown.
