Brownie Ingredients
½cupbutter
1cupgranulated sugar
2eggs
1teaspoonvanilla extract
⅓cupunsweetened cocoa powder
½cupall-purpose flour
¼teaspoonsalt
¼teaspoonbaking powder
Frosting Ingredients
3tablespoonsbuttersoftened
3tablespoonsunsweetened cocoa powder
1tablespoonhoney
2tablespoonsmilk
1teaspoonvanilla extract
¾cupconfectioners' sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees with a rack in the center. Generously grease and flour a mini muffin pan.
In a medium bowl, mix together ⅓ cup cocoa, ½ cup flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside. In a large saucepan, melt ½ cup butter. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat in dry ingredients. Drop batter into muffin tins, filling halfway. Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook.
To make frosting, melt butter in a glass bowl in the microwave. Combine 3 tablespoons cocoa, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Frost brownies while they are still warm. Decorate brownies as desired.
