Total Time: 5 minutes minutes
Servings: 1 cup
Irish Cream Cold Brew
- 1½ cups cold brew coffee
- 1½ teaspoons Irish cream syrup
- ¾ cup ice cubes
Irish Cream Cold Foam
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon 2% milk
- 1 tablespoon Irish cream syrup
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder for garnish
Stir together cold foam ingredients (heavy cream, 2% milk, and Irish cream syrup) in a cold cup. Using a handheld milk frother, froth the mixture until it is the consistency of melted ice cream. Set aside.
Pour ice into a large 16-ounce cup. Add cold brew coffee and Irish cream syrup. Mix to combine.
Add the Irish cream cold foam to the top and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
Frothing Options: If you don't own a handheld frother, you can shake the cream in a mason jar with a lid. You can also use a mini blender or an immersion blender to thicken the mixture.
Storage: Make a large batch of creamer and store it in the refrigerator. Froth your desired amount prior to making your cold brew drink. I typically use about ¼ cup of creamer to froth my drink.
Alternate Flavors: You can switch up the flavor of the creamer by using a different type of syrup. I like to use caramel, vanilla, or even pumpkin spice!
