Freddy's Sauce

Ingredients

Spice Blend

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon mustard seed ground
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • teaspoon turmeric

Sauce Ingredients

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • ½ teaspoon distilled white vinegar

Instructions

  • Mix spice blend together in a dish and set aside.
  • Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, and vinegar in a bowl. Stir and combine thoroughly.
  • Add spice blend to the mayonnaise mixture. Mix until spices are combined.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Heather's Helpful Hints

  • Copycat recipe from Freddy's Restaurant. The perfect condiment for burgers, hot dogs, chicken, and shoestring french fries! 
  • Some recipes call for pickle juice as an ingredient. I find that a mixture of vinegar with spice blend from the recipe above is actually more like the real Freddy's sauce. 
  • You can replace all the spices with 1 ½ teaspoons of Freddy's fry seasoning. 
  • Both onion powder and garlic powder have salt, so there's no need for added salt in this recipe.
